URGENT UPDATE- ICE STORM 2008 |
 The Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts has declared a Statewide TRAIL EMERGENCY
The great icestorm of 2008 has knocked down power lines, blocked roads, and destroyed buildings. AS WELL AS MOST OF OUR TRAIL SYSTEM. The crews cleaning up the streets will not be assisting us in the cleanup effort, and as you can see above and in our photo gallery, 6 of us cleaned up mass destruction along 1 mile of trail this sunday. At that rate, the trails will be ready to ride next AUGUST! We need help, as much as we can get. ANYONE who can run a chainsaw ANY day of the week, give Ken Cassavant a call at (508)320-1201 or (508)885-3007. We need to get this mess cleaned up before it snows and most of the trail system is impassable, especially on the north side of town and towards oakham. |
